Unit IV Project

Q • Weight: 10% of course grade • Grading Rubric Instructions For this assignment, you will prepare a video as if you are presenting to your shift or department. In your video, you will inform your team of the following information: ? the overall strategic objectives of your agency’s strategic plan, ? the risks identified in your community and their priorities, and ? future steps to ensure integration of mitigation efforts of the identified risks into the strategic plan. Be sure to explain the benefits of this plan to the community. Remember you represent your agency in the presentation, so your perspective is one of ownership; for example, talk about your plan versus presenting someone else’s plan. Your video must be at least 3 to 5 minutes in length. No references are necessary. After you have recorded the video, you will upload it to YouTube. You can access the Video Upload Instructions document, which provides guidance on how to upload a video to YouTube. To submit your video, copy the link from YouTube into a Word document. The Video Quality Guidelines document may be helpful when recording your video. If you do not have any way to record a video, you may contact your instructor to get permission to write a three-page report. For the report, you must follow the same prompt as described above.

The strategic objectives of the Menlo Park Fire Protection District's strategic plan (2020-2025) are to ensure the highest quality of service to our community, ensure the safety of our personnel, and ensure the organization's financial sustainability. The most important is to support “community Education Programs” to lessen the impact of any natural or artificial emergency. Similarly, another project uses the guidelines of NEPA 1500, 1582, and 1710 to promote the safety of the community and the organization’s members. Another major objective is arranging training, providing deployment, and tackling administrative demands. The agency should maintain the quality of equipment and apparatus for future deployment needs.
